Hello. Zuko here, but I guess you probably already know me, sort of... Uh so, the thing is, I have a lot of fire-bending experience, and I'm considered to be pretty good at it. Well, I guess you've seen me. You know, when I was attacking you? Uh, yeah, I guess I should apologize for that But anyway, I'm good now. I mean, I thought I was good before, but now I realize I was bad but anyway... I think it's time I joined your group and taught the Avatar firebending.

ZUKO~~~ I'm really happy i finally got to cosplay him! I first heard of Avatar a couple of years ago, but didn't watch it until last year...AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT INSTANTLY!!!

I was really drawn to Zuko as a character - not just cos he's hot (lol no lame pun intended!) but, throughout the whole series the way his character started, evolved and eventually came out as after all the different story lines came together, it was great!

Costume
I'm really happy with it - i made it in a couple of weeks (...ok, so it was mainly made in 24 hours...XD BUT THATS HOW COSPLAY GOES SOMETIMES - you know...what with me having work & move house during the time i wanted to prepare - so i'm amazed it was completed in time! All the fabric colours were matched from various reference pictures...and in it there were various reds, brown, maroon, yellow, black and gold...>< *gets a headache just remembering trying to find everything*

I have to say, I'm most proud of my SFX-makeup for the scar - i wanted to get it as close to the animation references with a realistic texture...and i think i achieved that. All the colours were hand mixed by me, and all materials, paints and makeups were also done after lots of internet research!

My skin had a mild reaction after the second time i did the SFX makeup for the shoot...but it was worth it!

We went to Armageddon 2010 in Melbourne dressed as our Avatar chracters and caught up with so many of our friends! At the con I was flattered with all the compliments that we got, and we also won best group!

I want to say huge thank you to my group:

it was because they started the movie before the anime was started....and had to go back to fix things left out
like: momo and kataara's brother's funny personality

but they couldnt fix aing's personality or the beta zuko hairstyle (which was already been shot for the movie)
