Together with *cescat, we entered the WCS prelim rounds for Australia this year...and after many ups and down with cosplay & family stuffs...Aly and myself won 1st place at the WCS Australia Sydney Prelims in these costumes.

We are in the Australia Finals for the WCS 2010! I’m really happy and proud of this~

Yes...i'm in a Dress...and yes, this is my first Female cosplay that i've put up on my DA...and i figured what better costume to debut my female cosplay on my site than this one. Lia de Beaumont from Le Chevalier d'Éon (Manga)

_{I have admired both Lia and Deon when i first got into the series, and although i feel more comfortable cosplaying males( a part of this has to do with their personality)... Lia has a strong, loyal, honest and pure personality which i can respect and i hold high in my own morals and values. So i decided to do her....but not in her male costume

I wanted to challenge myself to create a wonderful period dress and when Aly and I decided to do this series last year, we wanted to go with costumes that hadn't been done very much - the design of the manga cover - [link]

The manga art is so amazing, and detailed...AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE...almost but with blood, sweat, tears, money, study&research, support and advice - it was created! For a basic introduction to what i used -
18 meters of Red Silk dupion, 18 meters of beads, 65 meters of lace...and so much more~~~~~

There were many ppl that supported me thorugh this journey like one-san *FataleKnights and otouto-chan

I must say a huge thankyou to and These two women are two of the most talented, creative and kind-hearted people i have had the joy of knowing in my life. Without these two, i would have crumbled and tripped up - but they were there to give me a hand to stand on my own two feet.

This costume was way out of my comfort zone - but you know what - learning new techniques and trying things you've only seen before can be fruitful sometimes - and i have become more confident in my costumes, and am excited to take the next step and learn more to create costumes that myself as a fan of the characters that i cosplay, would be happy to see!}
