How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

...it was about time i got into shape and update this DA thing of mine! (yes, it has been just over 1 year since i actively started using DA!!)

So since my last post and now, what has happenend - in fast dot-point description for easy reading ^_^

G03 -
The first day i wore my "World Ends With You" Neku cosplay for the first time.We had fun running around Perth, and a highlight was going into David Jones with Aly as Joshua and

taking photos of us trying on pretty hats (to Joshua's pleasure, and Neku's horror)

The second day - Akira from Togainu no Chi....hmmm this costume i've been meaning to do for almost a year and a half...and finally it was done!! with the Smex-ful

Sydney Animania
Due to an unfortunate accident, both me and Aly pulled out of WCS, but were still amped (and physically able on Aly's part

) to attend. We ran the advance props pannel and had a great time meeting crazy people (OMG...WILL, PRINCESSS...YOU TWO WERE AWESOME TO MEET!!!AND Rinne_chan...*does mushroom dances with you) and ofcourse, got to meet and have smexy time with Catty and Tsubaki, Kenny and a whole bunch of other wodnerful peole!

Saturday i did Final Form Sora (last minute costume change) ^_^. I won best female for this day.
Sunday i did a sudo and last minute Reno...and man, its just like Aly said...Reno really does get all the fangirls (and fanboys) trying to get him to do dodgey things!

We are still waiting on offical photos we took at Animania...BUT STILL HAVNE'T RECEIVED THEM...WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING WITH THOES...T_____________T) We spent the Monday going Tourist-ing with Kenny, Widja and the Japanese judge.

So many last minute things...sooo many painful non-sleeping night...but it was worth it ^_^
Thursday night (Amaranth)- TYL Mukuro. Much smexing to be had. WIll...you are gorgeous...and Chibi- OMG...BLUE HAIR CLUB FTW!!!!

Friday (registration day)TYL Mukuro with Trident - umm...yeah, didn't get there until 7:00pm

but...WE HAD EPIC KARAOKE UNTIL LATE THAT NIGHT...OMG...MELBOURNE RULES!!!! That it all.
Saturday - Kaltz from Lamento. Much pleathery pain went into this. As well as editing skit music and getting it into registration with just minutes to spare...oh my body paid for that. But again, this was one of the cosplays i am most proud of! (i am proud of alot of my costumes for many different reasons). I was surprised at how many positive comments i got at resembling the character.
Sunday - Zack (FFVII) This was done for the lolz of our star-wars inspired skit. [link]
Aly was my epic-ly "Noooobie nooob noooob" Cloud and wouldn't have been able to pull of such an awesomely fun skit without her!

Japan
Between Melbourne and Japan (1 week) i moved house. Went to Japan did many cosplays at Tokyo Game Show, while having a fun holiday with my friends from perth. To sum it up, i edited together the crazy idea i got from watching "Where the Hell is Matt" and did our own fandom-friend version - "Caramell Dansen around Japan". [link]

Photoshoots
It has been a while since i've gotten fully back into Cosplay. I did a rendition of TYL Mukuro (with PLEATHER pants this time, as my Chrome insisted that i did...Byakuran and Gingerbread were very pleased ^_^ )
Also did a Macross Frontier Shoot..with character which are not the typical costumes you see cosplayed out there

And just recently i modeled and did a photoshoot with

for Katekyoushi Hitman Reborn, with myself as Mukuro and Aly as Hibari(uniform versions). As the location fitted perfectly with the Mukuro arc where the two first meet...i had to make the costume to fit the epic location...which meant Kokyou Uniform in 1 night! >_<.
